I went to the Color Factory which is a pop-up interactive exhibition with brightly colored room-sized installations. Each room tends to have different theme around the concept of color. You can eat, hear, taste, smell through the sequence as you circulate from rooms to rooms. The second photo is taken in the Into the Blue filled with ball pit which evoke a sense of joy and excitement bringing us back to our childhood.

Using tiles underneath was very interesting for me. I have found Mexican patterned tiles fascinating in which they are installed randomly while complement each other perfectly. They created a focal point towards the surface underneath and guide my eyes toward the curvy steel structure on top of the mirror aligning my sight down to the threshold. I;m interested on the use of materials that give a continuing extension of shapes and patterns. |
